9th July at Langar Hall
July monthly meeting.
This months East Midlands TVR Meeting will be held at Langar Hall, Nottingham at 12.30pm on 9th July 2006
For those who aren`t familiar with this location, (see Link below)
The hall is on your left on the outskirts of the village of Langar.
The TVR car club will gather at lunchtime, prior to this is an excellent opportunity to join the Eat Midlands TVRCC and those of you who are hungry can avail themselves to a beef roll.
As John Case from the East Midlands Car Club pointed out `Be warned, although very nice, they are expensive. Langar Hall has a reputation second to non for its food and hospitality.`
Many famous people have stayed there. Sir Paul Smith and Bruce Willis to name drop only two.
Small fry compared to the TVR owners there this Sunday
33 Mile drive
John Case has arranged a drive through the Vale of Belvour, similar to last time, (see picture from last years route down the drive of Langar Hall), but taking in quite a few more villages. The distance of the route is around 33 miles and we will, once again, finish off at The Plough at Hickling. I did consider another location but have chosen Hickling again as the `Basin` opposite has a great variety of wild life etc. and the pub have just decided to do food on Sunday all day. So please ignore the sign saying food only until 3pm.
Therefore, those not wishing to eat at Langar can have a snack or a full Sunday Lunch at The Plough.
