TVR at Monaco 2012
Well not quite in the F1 line up this weekend.
A 12 year old TVR Tuscan 4000cc we sold previously and it`s owner Chris together with his brother kindly sent us this attached picture and some comments today on his European driving adventure.
Chris emailed today
“My 1700 mile Euro trip through in the TVR Tuscan started with leaving the UK heading for Italy down to Mont Blanc to do the longest tunnel in Europe (to enjoy the sports exhaust for as long as possible!), then over to Nice to finally arrive in Monaco for the Grand Prix warm up and qualifying, somehow we then managed due to the fact we were driving the TVR to get on to the track and did a full lap behind the barriers!
The Tuscan got more photos taken than a page three model. We also saw more well known racing drivers and their families who at various times on our lap looked over to see who was making all the noise.
Leaving Monaco to the challenge of the Rhone-Alpes and 400 Kilometres of tight turns and one of the top ten drives in Europe.
What a trip with not one problem from this bullet proof TVR .
The only question what next for this car!”
Well that is easy as it was always his intention to sell the car back to us after his European trip and we should be getting this particluar car back shortly.
I should imagine Chris and his brother will be spending the next week trying to clean all those dead, half baked bugs off his nonnet and front screen.
