Never Driven in the wet, until now!
We have just picked up this gorgeous pre cat Griffith 4000cc. Ordered and owned by Doug Elwood the boss of David Gerald TVR new; it`s spent alot of its life tucked away from the elements.
Today it got a shock with Octobers wet weather when it was subjected to the first part of its detox at James Agger Autosport!
Ian ran (A sight not often seen) out of our Jeep to take this very wet picture, in order to keep everyone abreast of what was going on today and add to the history of this cars file.
This particular TVR has been featured on the front page of Classic cars magazine September 2011, mentioned in despatches in the TVR Car Club editorial and was one of the very first batch of pre cat customer cars in the UK.
Today it had some shock therapy and later this week its getting a full package of love ready for it`s next adventure.
