TVR Engineering Press car Originally sporting TVR Engineering’s press plate of TVR 100 from new, it was maybe the second TVR Tamora built (possibly from our twenty year old memory of buying it). It was used in all sorts of publicity events and road tests Thrashed within a inch of its life from 2001 -2005 ! When they removed the press plate the following year they changed it from bright Yellow to a more sedate Cherry Pearl – this must have been the Blackpool equivalent of placing the hard living TVR into a car witness protection program with a new peaceful life ahead of it. When offered the car by TVR Engineering we waited till they rebuilt the engine as part of the deal before we bought in 2005.
