Great Original, Unmolested TVR Griffith – The Holy Grail ?

TVR Griffith Cooper Green Metallic, Doeskin Hide and Wool Carpets, owned by it's last owner from 6 months old

TVR 1 – Always good to know what the original number plate was for this original, low mileage, factory specification, TVR Griffith 5000cc.

If only it was still on it, I’m sure we would be getting a phone call from TVR.

That aside if your after a keeper, just as Peter Wheeler intended it to look, then this one is as sweet as it will come.

Just taken some fresh pictures and it’s looking rather nice.

Classic Car Magazine Feature

Issue 52 February 22nd

Classic Cars magazine issue 52
Just out in the shops has a large feature on great convertible buys.
It features a rather nice TVR S series J666 GBS owned by one if our TVR technicians Martyn.

Always nice to get some good TVR press and even better when it’s one of your own cars.

Photographed at Longcross Film Studies, Chobham, Surrey last October.

Roof on Launch

1995 TVR Chimaera 4000cc

John and his daughter, seen ready to take their new toy in the form of a 1995 TVR Chimaera 4000cc. They turned up with a hat each in anticipation of a roof off drive home, but light snow put an end to this idea!

Upon getting home John texted us – ‘Arrived home safely, no issues, just a little wet and sore cheeks from smiling! Rgs John 🙂 ‘

A great TVR and a new convert, let’s hope we all get some sunshine sime time soon so they can use their hats.

F1 TVR Chimaera launched

...there's no replacement for displacement

Will from Northampton is normally seen trying to control the diagnostics on Lewis Hamilton’s Formula One race car most weekends. (so we will let him off wearing his Mercedes hat on this occasion!)

Spending hours and hours in front of computer screens, all around the globe, under huge pressure, there is something nice about an old school classic like the TVR Chimaera, he obviously thinks so.

No turbo chargers and gas re-circulation here, just a rather large, 1947 designed 5000cc V8 lump

Okay their car is loads faster..Mercedes_test_2017_tyres_04
