Latest TVR News & Views from James Agger Autosport

That time of year when the sun is starting to come out and we are all looking forward to the return of these times in April – usually we exhibit at Burghley House, Lincolnshire and although still all isolating we will be attacking every sunny day on the other side with everything TVR related at somewhere near you!

Keep safe everyone and rest assured we will be full on buying, selling, restoring and servicing these wonderful cars as soon as we possibly can.

We sadly heard today the passing of Richard Thorpe from RT Racing.

We have know Richard for over twenty years, in this time his wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for the TVR brand was as large as his personality, he will be sadly missed by everyone.

Hope there’s something loud and fast up there for you

RIP Richard

A good news story to show in the long run we all can make a comeback!

Our TVR Taimar 3000cc Aka ‘The Baron’ before we closed managed in the last week to get a fresh MOT and roadtest after its last MOT 22 years ago, in this period she had covered a massive 17 miles.

Much more work to do when we return with those splendid retro factory wheels and some ‘non Square’ new tyres will certainly be top of the list.

At 22444 miles currently with the last owner buying it as a ex demo from Tim and Zoe Randal, Stoke on Trent – TVR Main Dealer in 1979.
