This is actually the first of the factory MK1 bodyshells from new, called the 96.5 model as it has the plungers still outside, but has the later front and rear from the 97 model. (a rare old car actually)

Hopefully the D Day 80th celebration stickers do come off next week without the paint!

We bought this at the start of May and travelled to the Spa classic in it adding some well needed 1200 miles of reliability to the beast after the rift of work carried out in the past few years.

Just given it a service this week and fitted a new wheel bearing or two after the trip to Belgium and back.
