2003 Lightweight 4500cc
After selling this rare Cerbera twice previously it was rather reluctantly parted with this week and is ready for its next lucky owner.
Not many Cerbera`s were made after the launch of the Tuscan in 1999 and the V8 models have always been the most popular.
This AJP8 Blackpool derived engine was a detuned (slightly) version of the famous Tuscan Racing series unit.
TVR Engineering tried where possible to sell the speed six version of the Cerbera to the main dealers from 1998 onwards (slightly less costly to make).
Bristol Avenue had higher production costs on the V8 Cerbera range due it having a completly different engine to the rest of the range. It`s one of the reasons they didn`t concentrate more on this model towards the end of production.
A great car and not for the faint hearted as it will pull 180mph plus if you have the nerve to find the carpet on the right pedal in 4/5th gear.
