Australian update – Sending a TVR half way round the world is always a challenge.
Mind you looking at the sun drenched coastlines it’s past it would have been nice to go with it this winter.
Jeff from OZ ordered his TVR Chimaera from ourselves late last year and it has slowly but steadily made its way on a boat to Melbourne, Australia.
That was the easy bit, then it had to get through government departments and red tape from the fun police. Jeff managed to get a XKR Jaguar rear high level brake light colour coded for the rear of his TVR (mandatory to get it re registered in OZ.
As a treat he got this nice registration number so everybody now knows what’s coming up behind them.
Finally after a long wait it’s now road legal and soaking up a well earned retirement from the UK’s wet and windy weather.
Buying, restoring and selling TVR’s new and used since 1997 it’s always nice to follow where these motoring treats end up.
