TVR Car Club Season Opener- Wollaton Hall

Sun 6th April 2025

Date :- Sunday April the 6th 2025

Location :- Wollaton Hall, Nottingham NG8 2AE

Over 225 TVRs have been booked in so far and weather looks great.

The car club writes of Wollaton Hall…

Wollaton Hall is an imposing Elizabethan country house of the 1580s which has been the home of industrialists, Barons and most recently, Batman (Wayne Manor in “The Dark Knight Rises”). The Hall has been described as “the architectural sensation of its age” rather like TVRs, so an interesting location for the TVRCC’s Season Opener. The house is now Nottingham Natural History Museum, with Nottingham Industrial Museum in the outbuildings. The surrounding parkland has a herd of deer and offers walks around the lake and ornamental gardens.

The palatial stable buildings house a cafe which will be offering breakfast baps, hot and cold refreshments and there’s an ice-cream shop too. The parkland is dog friendly but they must be on a lead because of the deer.

There will be a drive out on Saturday the 5th of April so get your Batmobiles at the ready.

This Sunday, the TVR car club are invited to display on the sloped lawns of Wollaton Hall and there will be an option to participate in a timeline.

We hope you can join us at the start of the TVR Car Club’s Diamond Anniversary year.
