A Real Lightweight!
Well sort of..
We have just taken this later 4500cc Lightweight Cerbera into stock.
As the Tuscan dominated the new TVR car sales after the 1999 Motorshow the Cerbera (which had been king of TVR`s for nearly five years) was looking a little dated in comparison to the space age Tuscan available.
When the revived Tuscan S came out in 2001 it killed almost two thirds of the Cerbera 4.5 new car sales overnight
With the AJP8 being far more expensive to produce than the straight six Blackpool could make far more profit in the rest of the range and seemed happy for the Cerbera to be quitely moved into the background
However like the Griffith and the Tamora, smaller new car sales has meant that as the years go by they hold their residuals better as the used market always finds its mark and supply and demand then take over.
Everyone wants something a little different and after driving this particular Cerbera up from Poole our driver was buzzing (in the right way!) when he turned up with it this week.
This actual vehicle had a new list price in 2001 of £54000.
