Authentic Factory 4.3 Big Valve
As recently featured on page 194 of Roger Shackletons history of the TVR Griffith.
Its previous owner requested a full factory specification from TVR Engineering of the details of the cars original details and he received back confirmation of the full specification of the car stating

It is interesting that in this particular article it was noted that Trevor Wilkinson (founder of TVR) was asked what was his favourite all time TVR from the last 23 years and he replied the 4300cc BV

As cars get older they generally create more trouble for car retailers and if I wasn’t emotional about TVR’s I probably shouldn’t buy a 1992 TVR to retail, but once I drove it with the glorious soundtrack I was hooked. With so few of these examples around I just had to get this car for sale. Yes even I get welled up with certain TVR’s – well okay most of them.
In short it won’t be as well put together as later cars but this is like buying an old country cottage as opposed to a semi detached house like everyone else, what it lacks in technical wizardry and exacting production are more than compensated by the charm of an all time classic.
