Belper or bust
Alastair from Belper bought our Factory Cerbera V8 yesterday.
The car is finished in formula Red Pearl and included many TVR Enginering upgrades as the car was used to test many new items for the Cerbera.
Unlike most Cerbera`s of this age it has a 2005 Clutch system and bell housing, 4500cc/330mm Upgraded AP racing brakes, a later Oil Breather system on the engine and various other upgraded factory items only included on later cars.
This car also features a counter weight on the Crankshaft which TVR created on this car to try and make them smoother, this one certainly is and engine vibration/noise levels are lower than usual.
It drives superb and is as tight as one of the last ones.
One nice original feature on this particluar car though to show its age is the fact that the front end was moulded from the early nose of the Chimaera and TVR Engineering have added a central grill slot in riveted plastic which was replaced on the production cars with a fibre glass moulded section.
For the record he is taking the stickers off.
