We had a plan for this at the end of last year and shelved it due to other TVR’s getting in the way.

It’s having a full chassis off and strip and start again and has had its chassis and body separated this last few days.

Stripping it easy (as they say in Las Vegas) putting back right takes the skill, time, patience and the occasional mental meltdown!

Whatever your opinion on TVR’s they put together some great cars in Blackpool.

Finished in the Jaguar Colour – Wild Oyster Pearl, has half hide Fawn and Interior with red inserts, leather gaiters and door panel inserts.

Has a full service history with Hexham Horseless Carriages, who first ordered and supplied the car new, original order form, factory letters, service stamps in original service booklet right up until Tony and Hexham ceased trading TVR’s and the car was then not used due to ill health, which is where we come in.

Showing 32000 miles from new and having factory air-conditioning, 18 inch spiders, sports rear exhaust, upgraded factory head unit, it’s something worth looking at if you’re an TVR buff.

Alas in its last few years with the previous owner unable to lavish the love he had done on it since ordering it new from Hexham Horseless Carriages 22 years ago its suffered underneath so as its such a special thing, rather than a bit here and a bit there its having the following so far

Chassis lift completely,
engine removed,
body removed,
wishbones
all external chassis items removed,
chassis completely refurbished, powder coated and then all refitted,

engine up to buyer on what exactly they want doing while its out – this job is going to take a few months so this is the time to do updates,

extra options (especially if you are exporting it and want it as good as possible

…that’s the plan and anything else we come across along the way.

Anyway not 100% sure on price where this is going to end, but the point of this is to let you know it exists, anyone is interested then let us know.
