When the Tuscan Mark 2 came out at the 2004 Motorshow in its revised form not everybody hailed it as an improvement and evolution of the original

(It was about the same amount of people who said Peter Wheeler had runied the Griffith in 1994 by putting easier controls, better air intake and a later engine in it!)

The rear lights were clearer and there was some tweaking here and there at the front, together with a funky push start, with the whole binnacle turning red at the desired change up revs.

Also the Mark 2 S spec featured a very…very large rear spoiler, so big I recall seeing a club member placing two plastic ducks in the pond created at each rear side on a wet TVR meet the following year.

Anyway towards the end of production the majority of the Tuscans had the smaller arrangement seen on our 4000cc 2005 example due to customer demand.

Perhaps it doesn`t tuck the rear down as well as the original intended to at 180mph+ but sure looks better to most people in the pub carpark or at the golf club.
