RAF Wittering TVR Display
TVR Display at Families day with the RAF in Leicestershire.
Having a few connections with the local RAF bases in our East Midlands region we managed to get a full display at RAF Wittering this Friday together with the local TR and Bentley Car Club.
A great `convoy` drive through this superb part of the world for driving sportscars and finishing on a RAF Runway.
With the sunshine making various attempts throughout the day to appear if was a great event organised by East Midlands Car Club member Dave Matthews.
We were treated to amongst other things a full air display from the following :-
Avro Vulcan Bomber
Red Arrows
Euro Fighter
Battle of Britain Flight
Falcon RAF Parachute Display team
Lots of other great tracked machines, sports cars and guns…what more could you ask for ?
We took our Low Milage Griffith 4300cc Factory Big Valve (seen fourth in the picture down on our TVR Timeline) along for its second run this year!!
