Sports Exhaust Systems

Love them or hate them many of the TVR`s that come through our books have a `Sports Exhaust` System of some kind

Although various performance gains can be achieved through fitting/adapting existing systems with a `Sports` system, the main aim for most is to create a louder noise!

Chimaera`s and Griffiths tend to have the rear baffles removed to increase the decibels from the tailpipes.

Tuscans tend to have the rear cans `sleeved` to pop and bang more

Tamora/T350 have a rear section which can be upgraded to pop and bang more on overrun

But the daddy as ever is the Cerbera system at the rear.

The lateral `H` Section is removed and two smaller boxes are fitted in their place.

On the Speed Six engine it howls far more after 4,000rpm

On the V8`s it explodes on overun

It is always worth thinking long and hard whether your neighbours will like it as much as you will…that will be the neighbours two streets away!
