The original TVR Griffith was concieved by Jack Griffith in the USA and he acheived this by shoe horning a 4.7 Litre V8 engine into the tiny TVR Grantura in the late 1960`s.

The second coming of the TVR Griffith was at the 1990 Birmingham Motor Show. Where it stole the show taking Peter Wheelers fledgling company into the big league.

The Five litre (from August 1993 onwards) seen to the right is the most popular model and from the 1995 models onwards seem to be the best buys featuring a later Borg warner gearbox and serpentine engine system.

These are gems and were sold in far smaller numbers than many other TVR variants and are commanding strong premiums.
