TVR tops with Carbon footprint
Well don`t believe all the hype from the Germans about their green credentials
We picked a normal, everyday German vehicle in France this weekend and pitted it against our 5000cc Griffith Limited Edition. (both seen here in the picture)
Although the Tiger has around 350 Bhp more than our Griffith 500 LE we were reasonably confident we could also outdrag the Germans 25 mph top speed by a cool 142mph.
Fuel economy was slightly better with a 250 mile plus range for our TVR against that of 53 miles across country for the Germans.
With a top speed of 167mph and 0-60 figures of 4.1 seconds the Griffith should and will easily get away, the only issue we can see here is the fact that the Tiger can fire a shell at 930 meters per second to spoil the English fun.
